I am constantly asked, “Prof. Dave, are you a Jobber." My answer is clear. Given the state of my mental and physical deterioration, I am in no position to Job. Well, Prof. Dave, have you ever Jobbed?

Have I Jobbed?

 I was teaching at the SP Jain School of Global Management in Sydney, Australia. The curriculum was devoted, almost entirely, to international business management. I was teaching international business strategy and international business to MBA students. The students were predominantly from India.  One of the main attractions of the program was that the students spent a semester at each of the three SP Jain campuses in Sydney, Dubai, and Singapore. Almost all of the students were from India. Many of the MBA students were very young.

It is the Jewish New Year. On Rosh Hashanah, it is written on Yom Kippur it is sealed who will live and who will die. There is no consensus in the Jewish religion with respect to the existence of heaven or hell. Some believe in a forthcoming Messianic period. 

Many people are climate skeptics. They do not understand the science/mythology. But Climate Change is real!

A colleague asked an important question with respect to "momentous changes." I was unable to discover specific literature with respect to "momentous changes." However, I identified Black Swan events and Creative Destruction as proxies. A brief description follows.

I have always been interested in how things work. When I started to study business management, I learned that this is called, amongst other things, the value proposition. As a result, I have never been bored. Whether in a donut shop or doing a training session in Sri Lanka, I always ask the same question: What is the value proposition, what makes this work/ or not work?
